First 2019 Camping trip of the season!
We were thrilled to celebrate Father's Day weekend with a fun and relaxing camping trip with the Strahans!
And that's a wrap!
And the last happenings of the school year....
The kids both received academic excellence awards and Aliyah won an art award as well!
There was a last outdoor concert for the school.
And then the end of the year parties of games and snacks!
And just like that we're moving on to 4th and 5th grade!
We also finally (after many rained out games) finished another soccer season. Of the many, many children's activities I volunteer for this is surly my favorite! I like it more now since the kids are older and you can actually teach them real things and they show great improvement! Many of the boys this year were recruited for the travel team and I'm so proud. We were nearly undefeated (except for the out of league team we played bringing in ringers the last game) and I can truly say I actually enjoyed coaching every single one of these boys!
Aliyah's 9th birthday
In true Aliyah form there are generally several celebrations! Instead of having a big friend party this year she wanted to take a few girls to the new Dave and Busters. She brought Kaylee and Aslyn and we met the Pappalardo's there as well so Max had a bud to hang out with. They all had a fun time playing games!
Then of course we had to have more friends over for a picnic. It was a beautiful day and we're thankful for friends and family who could come!
She loves her friend Chloe and so glad she made it!
How lucky her birthday fell on a water party day at school (why she's wearing swim gear!)
Then a post-gymnastics dinner at Red Robin!
Aliyah is an amazing 9 year old and we're so blessed! She never stops talking and keeps us on her toes with all her wild ideas. When they work out they can be amazing though!
