Giving lots of thanks....

We have SO much to give thanks for. The Lord has blessed us so much with yet another wonderful year. While we greatly miss our family far away, we are thankful for those a bit closer who we got to spend a great weekend with!

First Thanksgiving with my family in Pottstown. We've been doing get togethers at my grandmother's assisted living place. It's great we can still all get together there. Most importantly is the delicious food, what meal could be better than the one on Thanksgiving!

And for the entertainment...

And the other entertainment (best part about being with family is I still get to be with the kids but there are other's to entertain them!) Kate needs a lot of practice anyway with twins coming!

Friday morning we headed the other direction to northern VA to visit Aunt Ellie and family. As usual we had a great time. The weather was warm and beautiful and we really enjoyed playing outside again. We also enjoyed another wonderful, ham this time, dinner which lasted us all through the weekend (and consequently made those extra 5lbs re-appear!) It was great too that Grandpa Ken and Diana were able to come and join us for some of it.
