Where does the time go! Though I have to say, baby Max seems SO long ago. He's turned into such an awesome, smart, funny, handsome young boy. I can't believe how tall he's gotten and how old he looks now. I LOVE that he is still a KID though. He still loves playing most with legos, but will get out his cars/monster trucks, action figures, angry bird set ups, or other things he's had for years. I don't look forward to the day he stops "playing" and encourage it as much as we can. Within an hour of getting home from school and living room is usually already FULL of his "set ups". He's doing great with school. He has received ALL green checks so far for behavior. He's learning some words and can count to 100 with little help. He's making lots of friends and really enjoying himself. He still has a huge appetite and is a good eater enjoying lots of fruits and vegetables. He's gotten better with wearing most clothes except for button shirts still, but at least he'll wear pants/jeans with buttons now so our school wardrobe has expanded. Poor kids still isn't good with some fears of being hurt or sick, mostly splinters and throwing up but I can relate. He is still best buddies with Aliyah and they're just so cute together! We love you Max and God has truly blessed us with an amazing son!
Before the sun came up on his birthday he had already opened some gifts and started putting lego sets together:)
He had several celebrations since we couldn't get any two groups of people together this year for some reason. He didn't seem to mind a handful of "parties"!
A few months back, Max had mentioned to Nate he wanted a surprise party. Not sure he fully understood what that meant but we decided to invite a few friends and neighbors over and give it a try. He was VERY surprised and after the shock and little embarrassment of the "surprise" he had fun playing with his buddies!
Silly string on the front porch
The girls retreated to the basement:)
It was a fun evening with friends and he had a good time!
