It happened

So one week in April we got word that a boy on our soccer team tested positive for Covid (the day after my 2nd vaccine and week after Nate's).  To be safe we went to get tested.  Max and Aliyah ended up being positive while Nate and I were negative.  But it threw the whole family into a 10 day quarantine that we kinda enjoyed.  The kids had zero symptoms so it was really a throw back to the spring before when we just couldn't go anywhere anyway but all felt perfectly fine.  Nate and I worked from home, the kids schooled from home and kept in good physical condition:)

Day 1 was fire table

Day 2 hacking our way through the woods to the creek behind our house

Day 3, laps to stay in shape for soccer and performance

Day 4, I had an nice addition to my temporary dinner room office from the front flower bed

Day 5 nice enough to eat outside and enjoy loaded nachos!

Day 6 included puppy sitting

Day 7 was a re-do of art area...

Day 8 was smoked pork tenerloin!

I stopped after that but the last few days included the finishing of new art corner, opening up the pool for the season.  It was so nice and clear, yay!

We're so thankful the kids remained symptom free and we had been careful enough that they didn't pass it on to anyone else.  We were also thankful for the timing as one week later would have had pretty bad outcomes with theater, soccer and work events.  God is good!
