Soccer

Our other bit of "normal" was soccer season.  We were thrilled to get out there again on the field and happy we made it through the season with no interruptions!  On account of our team being short players, and since due to COVID the teams were co-ed this season, I even recruited Aliyah to play.  We had a great group and a really fun and successful season!  It was amazing to see the kids improve and am so excited with how much Max has grown with his skills!

Oz

After getting a show canceled mid-rehearsal in March Aliyah was thrilled to be back at the theater!  She got the role of the Tin Woodsman in Oz.  Not only did she have a lot of speaking parts but she had her first solo song which she did amazing in!  We're so proud of her and love how much she loves this!

She also danced in the cyclone scene doing lots of lifts and hard dancing!

Her most devoted Strahan fan club:)

Fall/Halloween

It's certainly been a beautiful Fall, which was much needed so we could continue to be outside and somewhat social safely before we're all locked inside all winter.  We enjoyed Apple picking, decorating and thankfully got in some fun and safe Trick or Treating!

Max turns 12

Happiest of Birthdays to the most easy going guy in the world!  Sad we have to have another party-less quarantine birthday but glad we got to have some fun doing it.  Max is as tall and as big as I am.  His teachers tell us he always has a smile on his face.  He loves soccer and still loves building with legos.  He's a huge Fortnite fan, which, while I'm not a big video game person, it's been a wonderful outlet to be social and be able to play with friends.

His birthday was a beautiful day, we went to Indian Echo, soccer practice where everyone sang and had some McDonalds and Ice Cream cake!

Luckily we have a Quaran-team so we got some B-day mini golf and bonfire dinner with friends!

Then we also got to celebrate with Grandpa and Grandma Diana who we hadn't seen in forever.  It was a beautiful day for a masked outdoor visit!
