It's been a strange year so far to say the least. Fifth grade is a very special year in our district. It's the last year of elementary school. This guy missed out on a lot of fun- a big Philadelphia field trip, band concert, parties, graduation, awards ceremony, field day, etc. But these kids have just been having so much fun it breaks my heart for the things they've missed way more than it upsets them. The teachers have been amazing, the kids have still learned and they've managed to keep a connection. Max even got an award for doing every single virtual assignment (as well as being a great friend award and Aliyah getting curious cat award:)).
A surprise graduation party was the least we could do for this special guy!
