Grandmother

Family... missing one.

On July 1 my family lost someone very precious.  My grandmother, Mary "Mina" Mogel passed away at 86.  She was the true matriarch of the family.  There are countless memories of her, countless holidays spent with her and countless dinners of her PA Dutch home cooking.  Praise God she is now home with Him and finally, after 20 years, reunited with my grandfather and her son.  She will truly be missed.  My kids loved to go visit with mom-mom mom-mom, sing her songs and run in circles around her little apartment.  We love you very much mom-mom!

We were lucky to enjoy another visit with her a few weeks ago and she was fortunate to have met her 2 latest great grandchildren:)  My cousin Kate's twins.

Summer fun

Having a great summer so far!

The Sunday before the 4th we had a "Kiddie parade" at church.  It was so cute to see all the kids decorated in their red white and blue!

Then we were so lucky to have a great week with Uncle Kris and Aunt Wendy!
Happy birthday mom!
Good helpers blowing out the candles.

Lots of craft time with Aunt Wendy

Randomly Nate's Uncle Parker, Aunt Joan and cousin Alicia were passing through town on their way from CT back to Charlotte so they stopped by for dinner.  It was great to catch up with them.

During the visit the kids were attached to Uncle Kris and Aunt Wendy.  Nate and I (and my mom) were demoted to the lower patio table while they "saved" the seats next to them for their new best buds!
