Snow

We finally got snow!! Last year was pretty much a bust with only one snow storm. This year we're starting early with nearly 10 inches will it was all done.  While the pup generally hates cold weather, she has enough puppy in her to brave the cold and play in it!  She quickly warmed up in front of the fire under blankets when she came back in:).

Beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

It's officially the season!  We had lots of fun decorating and it's really nice to have actual help in the kitchen now for cookie baking!  She can pretty much do most of it on her own.  She even found a recipe for puppy treats!

Thanksgiving

It wasn't a normal Thanksgiving for sure.  Along with missing my mom, we missed pretty much everyone we usually love to host.  But there was a lot of thanks around our table of 4, mostly for each other.  It sure is nice to not just love, but really like your people too.

Fortunately it was a beautiful day so along with several family zoom calls, we did get to have a nice visit with Kris, Wendy and Jim's crew outside at their house after we ate.

All the good food and Max eats plain turkey, break and corn!

Puppy sure enjoyed her feast!

Gettysburg

Trying to find outdoor activities to do, we took advantage of a beautiful November day and did the audio tour of Gettysburg.

Fall photo shoot

Since we have a crazy addition we had to keep a location of minimal distraction.  Thankful for a great friend with great talent coming to our back yard for a photo shoot.   The beautiful dress Aliyah is wearing was found while cleaning out my mom's closet.  I've worn several of her dresses that she kept from her youth, but unfortunately had missed out on this one!   I'm sure my grandmother made it for a HS dance and Aliyah looks just beautiful wearing it:).
