Soccer again

We decided to take a break from the many many hours of commitment baseball engulfs and do spring soccer.  What a difference from the Fall.  Max moved up a level and it was such an awesome season. We were undefeated, often winning by several goals.  All the kids were decent players, some were awesome!  They listened and I actually got to teach some soccer skills along the way.  It truly was a joy coaching these boys this spring!

A little after season Rita's party!

Aliyah goes to camp!

Ever since we got a brochure in the mail many months ago Aliyah has been dying to go to Girl Scout camp.  Not knowing anything about it, in May they held an open house so we went to check it out.  We found out that you didn't go with your troop and they have a 3 day mini-camp so how could we say no?!  She was so excited and had an absolute blast, doing fun activities, making new friends, taking care of herself and the cabin and really enjoyed the counselors too.  3 days (2 nights) away from her was the longest either of us had ever done and with NO communication it was not easy for either of us but we're very proud of her.  And, I got the BEST hug I ever had at pick up Friday evening:)

First camping of 2017!

Had a great weekend at a Yogi Bear campground with the Fords and Leshers!

And now she's 7!

This girl!!! I can't believe my baby is 7!  At 7 she stands about 4 ft tall and is just over 50lbs.  She is crazy but we love her so much.  She can have quite the attitude one minute and is kissing you all over the next.  She keeps us on our toes for sure!

Her birthday dinner restaurant of choice- Red Robin!

We had to wait till Nate got back from a work trip for her party.  We had a great time at Wildwood with her friends!
