Lots to be thankful for!

We sure missed mom-mom but I know she would have been so happy that we all got together with our traditional family favorites.  It was so nice of everyone to come out to Harrisburg and we loved hosting.  It was a beautiful day and we had a great time.

This was the first Thanksgiving, picnic style in Aliyah's room with cousin Jess!

Matty and Ryan soon joined!

The kids decorated pine cone turkey name tags to put at each seat.  We had just enough room for everyone.

Max wanted to sit out in the living room to watch the babies:)

Chowing down!

D's first taste of turkey and potatoes.... not so much a fan...

Precious, little fresh air nap after her turkey.

Football and leaves for the kids.

Max's new bud!

Cousin fun.

Then Friday we headed down to the Brown's in VA.  Grandpa was there and we had fun again- did a little shopping, had a photo session and a yummy ham meal.  The kids always have a blast with their cousins (and their toys)

Dessert, Max loved his pumpkin pie!

Dancin with Emma

Emma's rings, cheeeeese!

Emma gave Aliyah her first Barbie.  She sat there and made it sing for a good 10 mins.

They're now best buds.

We have a lot to be thankful for this year.  We have 2 happy healthy kids, a wonderful marriage, the best friends and family we could imagine and a wonderful Savior who made it all possible.  We're very much looking forward to the holiday season this year.  We won't have a lot of company but we have little things the kids are excited about and we cherish all the little moments when they come:)

Random Fall Fun

Just some random fall fun before the Holidays....

Max's friend Wes came over to play.

Hurricane Sandy came.  We were very fortunate to not have any damage but we did have a sleepover in the basement just in case those trees outside decided to do anything dangerous.  The kids LOVED it!  (Max even built that came fire.)

We went to a few more Halloween parties.  This one from Sean and Ian's...

And at Mallory, Ellie and Liam's....

There was a fall festival at a local church.  It was great, met lots of our friends there and Aliyah got to ride the pony, there was a tractor hay ride, bounce, face painting and cookies!

Can't forget about the leaves...

Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween from Batman and Tinkerbell!  It was a beautiful night and the kids had a blast.

The wings light up too!

This was just them being goofy earlier in the day!
