Random Fall Fun

Just some of the random pictures we want to remember!

Aliyah was feeling very excited about her outfit and wanted me to take a picture:)

The church where Aliyah goes (and Max went) had a Harvest Festival one evening.  The kids were very excited to go and enjoyed the crafts, face painting, games and yummy food!

Some bike fun with a peanut and spiderman!
We really enjoyed the fire pit a lot this Fall!  Dinner and dessert!

Aliyah started a little gymnastics class at the community center.  Probably not her best "sport" but she enjoys it and its Thursday morning so it doesn't get in the way of anything else.  And she's SO cute doing it:)

I had off for Veterans Day but Max didn't so Aliyah and I had what she calls "Girl's Day!"  Her first request was breakfast at Chocolate World!

Then we came home and had the task of raking the leaves (which I happen to have to do AGAIN only 4 days later when the yard was covered again!)

It was a beautiful day out though so we had fun!

Last weekend I had a baby shower to attend for my dear college friend Laura so we headed in to Grandpa's for the weekend.  Saturday night we went to Peddler's Village.  I'd been there a million times growing up but hadn't been there in maybe 10 years.  It was neat to take the kids there and have them enjoy it too!

Halloween Happenings

This was a fun day of Halloween preparations.

First they selected what they wanted their pumpkins to look like and daddy got to work!

They had to do the messy part...

Finished creations!

Bass Pro Shops had a photo op and scavenger hunt for Halloween.  Max had been sick and not out of the hosue much so we decided to costume up and check it out.  The kids had fun looking for everything and getting a prize!

We also had the first rake  (of many) of the season.  Always fun to play in the leaves!

Nate found this old riding toy in the garage, they still love this old broken thing!

I spy....

Then of course the big night!  Trick or treat!  Luckily the weather wasn't too bad and as usual they came back with a pumpkin full of goodies!  Aliyah insisted on the green face paint.  She liked the idea better than she liked the feel but she had it on while she went out at least.

Max had his first Halloween parade and school party.  I was a room mom and helped do the party.  It's so cute to be involved and see all the kids.  It's such a cute age!

Pumpkin Patch

Since the Browns had quite a busy early Fall, getting their house on the market and house hunting in Atlanta, they didn't make it up for Max's birthday at all.  Since we had a free day we decided to meet half way at a big pumpkin patch.  It was a little chilly (the winter coats were overkill and got shed as play time got hot) but beautiful and the farm was really neat.  It had a big maze, pumpkin shooting, a fire, a hay ride, car ride and big indoor play place with all kinds of hay creations, go cart rides and old school playground equipment.  We spent hours there and really had a good time enjoying the farm and each other.  Of course the kids want to get in all the Emma and Luke time they can before they move so far away!
